The Historic Log Canoe

Log canoes are a unique boat that you will only find on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. They were originally oyster Buy Boats and are now a fleet of race boats. I was lucky enough to sail on “Mystery“ for the 2023 season. This rambunctious crew always had a good time and never capsized the canoe! A crew from Maryland Public Television documented Mystery over the course of a weekend this summer.
